When you first enter our Atlanta, Georgia Orangetheory Fitness studio, be prepared for an energetic yet challenging workout with gym coaches that encourage you to push yourself.
You'll burn calories and increase your strength with our one-hour Orangetheory session, in which your trainer will lead you and a small group through an interval workout using indoor rowing machines, treadmills, TRX suspension training, weight training blocks, and floor exercises.
During your Orangetheory five zone interval training session, you wear a heart rate monitor and POD that we will provide, but have the option to purchase your own from one of our friendly staff if you prefer. The heart rate monitor provides up to the minute results on a video monitor for your trainer to see how you are performing, and it also helps to keep you more accountable. Our gym sessions have been designed to keep your heart rate within a targeted zone at 84% or higher of your maximum heart rate, or zone 4/5, for between 12-20 minutes of your workout. When you are able to do so, your metabolism is boosted and your energy is increased. This results in what we refer to as the Orange Effect—increased energy and more calories burned for 24 to 36 hours after your session has ended!

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.
